Changes in Sacramento

As returning delegates take to the streets of Sacramento, many can’t help but notice the changes time has brought.

Most notably, delegates have expressed concerns about their safety this year. There have been numerous reports as well as personal experiences of a more aggressive homeless population around the capitol.

“There sure have been a lot more sirens this year, I can tell you that!” says Brooke Kenerson, a returning delegate of NCDM, in regards to the increase in aggressive and violent occurences this conference.

However, other delegates felt that there have been positive changes this year. Another NCDM delegate, Solomon Sonenshine, reported, “Sacramento has a great vibe this year, I’ve met a lot more people who live hear and are willing to talk to us about our program.”
